How to Download from Pinterest Without Logging In

You do not need a Pinterest account to download public content, and you do not need one for Vidizia either. Here is what that covers and where it stops.

What works without an account

A public Pin is visible to anyone with its link. Paste the link into the video downloader or the image downloader and you get the file: no Pinterest account, no Vidizia account, no sign-in anywhere. That covers images, videos, GIFs, Reels and carousels that are publicly visible.

Check that a link is public

Open the link in a private (incognito) window, or in a browser where you are not signed in. If the Pin shows, it is public and should work. A pop-up asking you to sign up or log in while you scroll does not make a Pin private. What matters is whether the Pin itself is visible.

What cannot be downloaded

Vidizia does not log in to Pinterest. It reads only what a visitor who is not signed in can see, so private and secret boards, deleted Pins and anything behind a login wall cannot be fetched, and no honest tool can get around that. In those cases you see a message like We couldn’t get media from this link. Check that the pin is public and try again in a few minutes. If the Pin does open in a private window, wait a few minutes and try again.

Short links from the app

Links like pin.it/… from the Share button work just like pinterest.com links, so you can paste them as they are.

No password needed

A downloader never needs your Pinterest password. If one asks for it, leave the site. The full checklist is in the safety guide.
